Welcome to CAPSI 2020

20th Portuguese Association for Information Systems Conference
- All papers published at CAPSI 2020 will be indexed by SCOPUS -

The 20th edition of the Portuguese Association of Information Systems Conference will be held at Universidade Portucalense (UPT) from October 14th to 17th, 2020 in a joint effort with FEUP, ISEP-IPP, ISCAP-IPP e ESTG-IPP.

 

Important note
Due to the uncertainty regarding the health and social situation at the time of the conference, it has been necessary to adapt the planning of the conference in order to provide the best possible experience for the participants. Thus, this is the last call for papers, and the format adopted for the conference is final.

Maintaining the Conference model from last year’s – CAPSI 2019 – we hope to prompt your interest to the 19th CAPSI edition and count on your participation, either by presenting your research work or by participating in the various initiatives we are preparing.

The main conference theme this year is "Artificialization, Humanization: The Challenges of Information Systems in Transforming Society.

The conference will be in virtual format, including a set of events that will bring together academics, researchers, professionals in the fields of IT, IS and Management, and students of various nationalities. In addition to the technical sessions (16-17 oct) where research results and case studies will be presented, webinars on IT / SI education, presentation of products and services, and a mini job market in SI.


All articles that are submitted and accepted, and whose authors have made their registration, regardless of the modality, will be published in CAPSI2020 will have SCOPUS indexing.

Participation is open to the academic and business communities through the submission of papers, which must respect the format defined for the Conference.
The works must be submitted electronically, in PDF format, following the specific model made available, until the next June 15, 2020.

Each paper will undergo a double-blind review process. The proposals for the Doctoral Consortium will be assessed by this Committee. Poster submissions will be assessed by members of the Program Committee and afterwards presented in specific sessions during the Conference.

Everyone’s participation is important and we count on you all to disseminate our Call for Papers in your institutions and contact networks.

Awards: The best papers will be awarded as it will the School with the highest number of papers accepted, except UPT.
